These Terms of Use apply to your use of thedjart.com, the website of DJ ART, a solo event DJ and live saxophonist based in Los Angeles, California. By using this site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

These terms cover the website, not your event

These terms apply only to this website. If you book DJ ART for an event, the performance, payment, cancellation and all other booking terms are set out in the separate written agreement that you and DJ ART sign. If that agreement and these terms ever conflict, the signed agreement controls for your event.

Availability, quotes and bookings

  • Anything on this site, or said in a reply to an inquiry, about availability, services, equipment or packages is general information, not an offer or a guarantee.
  • Your date is reserved only after the agreement is signed by both of us and your deposit is received. Until then, the date may be booked by someone else.
  • Quotes and proposals are valid for the time stated in them. Services, equipment and descriptions on the site may change without notice.

Using this site

You may use this site to learn about my services and to contact me. Please don't:

  • send false, misleading or someone else's information through the inquiry form;
  • send spam, malware, or anything unlawful, threatening or abusive;
  • try to break, overload or gain unauthorized access to the site or its server;
  • scrape or copy the site's content in bulk, including with bots or automated tools, or use it to train AI models.

Content and intellectual property

All content on this site, including text, photos, videos, audio, music mixes and edits, logos and design, belongs to DJ ART or is used with permission from its owners. The DJ ART name and logo are my brand identifiers.

You may view the site and share links to its pages. You may not copy, download, edit, republish or use any photos, videos or other content, including for commercial purposes or in your own marketing, without my written permission. Music heard in videos belongs to its respective rights holders and is featured for demonstration only.

If you appear in a photo or video on this site and would like it removed, contact me and I will take care of it.

If you believe something on this site infringes your copyright, email info@thedjart.com with a description of the work and where it appears on the site, and I will review it promptly.

Reviews, testimonials and third-party links

  • Reviews and quotes on this site come from real clients, including through WeddingWire and The Knot. They reflect those clients' personal experiences. Your experience may be different.
  • This site links to other websites, such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, WeddingWire, The Knot and review sites. I don't control those sites and I am not responsible for their content, terms or privacy practices. Their own terms apply when you use them.
  • The inquiry form is provided by HoneyBook. Using it is also subject to HoneyBook's terms.

I work to keep this site accurate and up to date, but it is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, DJ ART makes no warranties of any kind about the site, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement, and does not promise that the site will always be available, error-free or free of viruses.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, DJ ART will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website, even if I was told such damages were possible. This section covers the website only. Liability for an event I perform at is governed by the signed agreement for that event. Some places don't allow certain of these limits, so some may not apply to you.

Indemnity

If you misuse this site or break these terms, and that leads to a claim against DJ ART, you agree to cover the reasonable costs of that claim, including reasonable attorneys' fees.

Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about this website will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you agree to their jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when they were last updated. If you keep using the site after a change, the updated terms apply.

General

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If I don't enforce a provision right away, that doesn't mean I've waived it. These terms, along with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and DJ ART about this website.
