DJ, MC and live saxophone for your ceremony, cocktail hour and reception.

Call (310) 343-2412

I'm DJ ART, a Los Angeles wedding DJ and saxophonist. I DJ, MC and play live sax at weddings across LA and Orange County, and I've been doing it since 2015. Couples hire me for two reasons: a dance floor that stays full and sax moments their guests still talk about.

"Wow, Dj Art really delivered, we had literally everyone of our 150 guests on the dance floor!!! Such a memorable moment, and he brought out the saxophone at the perfect times." (Alex & Hannah, The Hollywood Roosevelt, WeddingWire)

Your wedding, from ceremony to last song

Ceremony

Ceremony sound and microphones, so your officiant and vows are heard by every guest. Live saxophone or recorded music for the processional and recessional, timed to your walk.

Cocktail hour

Live sax among your guests or a relaxed DJ set while you take photos. This is where the sax works best in the background.

Reception

I MC the evening: grand entrance, first dance, toasts, parent dances, cake cutting and the send-off, all on the timeline we agree on with your planner and venue. Then the dance floor opens. I read the room and mix for your crowd, with sax on the songs that need it. I finish with your last song, played live if you want.

"Music for ceremony, father daughter, all the special moments were spot on. Very professional and showed up looking wedding appropriate…" (Hannah, WeddingWire)

How we plan your wedding music

  1. Check availability. Send your date, venue and guest count. I take one event per day.
  2. Consultation. We talk through your vibe, must-play songs, a do-not-play list and how much sax you want.
  3. Timeline. We lock the order of events, announcements and pronunciations with you and your planner.
  4. Wedding day. I typically arrive 2–3 hours early for setup and soundcheck, and coordinate with your venue and other vendors.

Music for mixed crowds

Most LA weddings have more than one generation and often more than one culture on the dance floor. I play Top 40, pop, hip hop, R&B, house and electronic, reggaeton, rock, country, oldies and jazz, plus Russian, Armenian, Persian and Israeli music.

"No matter your age, he got people dancing who I haven't seen dance in 50 years." (Jonathan F., The Knot)
